How we test PMS tools
Sandbox testing, dated pricing, no paid placement.

What we do
- Sandbox testing. We set up a trial or sandbox account and check channel-manager mapping (Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com), the unified inbox, automation rules, and onboarding first-hand.
- Dated pricing. Every price and fee is quoted from the vendor’s own pricing page or a real host report, with the date we verified it. Sales-gated pricing is labelled as such.
- Real host reports. We cite verbatim, attributed quotes from Reddit, BiggerPockets, G2 and Capterra — positive and critical — with links.
- Routing by size. We rank by portfolio size because the right PMS at 3 listings is the wrong one at 30.
What we don’t do
- No paid placement. A commission never moves a verdict.
- No fabricated testimonials or stock “our properties” photos.
- No claims about Airbnb policy without linking Airbnb’s own help center.
Pages show a last-verified date; older than 90 days, we re-check. AI assists our drafting; a human checks every number against source. See our affiliate disclosure.
